Part-time Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This entry-level, part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for home décor and gifts, and is eager to learn about retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
-Process sales transactions accurately using a computer-based point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Complete the full sales process, from assisting with product selection to finalizing purchases.
-Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
-Receive, unpack, and organize inventory; lift and move boxes as needed.
-Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Basic computer literacy; ability to operate a POS system.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Customer-focused attitude with the ability to engage warmly and professionally.
-Attention to detail and willingness to learn about products.
-Ability to lift and move boxes of inventory (up to 25–40 lbs.).
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
Qualifications:
-Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
